What is a "TRAWLER", you may ask? Someone described a trawler as: "Salty, strong, tough, seaworthy, economical, displacement speed, well constructed, well engineered, shippy, liveable, comfortable and loveable."The DeFever 49 PH is a full-displacement ocean-capable recreational trawler, designed by Arthur DeFever and built in Taiwan. We own a 1988 boat - "Adventures" - she's distinctive since she has a black AwlGripped hull.
